There will be several activities in the Haitian Community.

March 31  Jamaican Awareness and Sosyete Koukouy  will organize the Third Annual Caribbean Dance Festival . There will be  2 presentations One in Broward (Coral Springs) with NDTC of Jamaica, The St. Lucia National Dance Troupe and Trinidad National Dance Group. On Sunday April  1, 2001 Sosyete Koukouy, Ife Ile of Cuba, Diaspora Dance  NDTC, Trinidad and St. Lucia will be at the Nord Miami Beach Performing Arts Theater.

Coming up in May, the Africando. One full week of activity at the Port of Miami. Several artists and African Products will be exhibited for the American public in order to initiate some kind of  cultural and commercial exchanges. To close the event, there will be a special day, May 5, 2001 where artists from several Caribbean Cities will be invited to perform. T-Vice et la Troupe de Dance de la Sosyete Koukouy will represent Haiti the first black independent nation in the world
